When Ali was in college, she had her first anaphylactic reaction to tree nuts that sent her to the hospital. Following the reaction, she went for food allergy testing, and the doctor concluded her only option was strict avoidance of all tree nuts and that an epi-pen must be carried around with her at all times. The experience was stressful and overwhelming, as she returned to school with an altered reality.
Luckily, at the time she had a friend who was going through A.R.T. for his multiple severe food allergies. That friend shared his experience with Ali, and eventually she began the A.R.T. process. Within months, Ali was eating tree nuts without any allergic symptoms. Her food allergy anxiety dissipated as life returned to normal. She had graduated with a newfound appreciation for mindfulness and wellness, thanks to A.R.T.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Ali moved to NYC and became immersed in the wellness world. She completed the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Training Program and graduated as a Certified Holistic Health Coach. A.R.T. had recently opened a second location in NY and was expanding the center. Ali went on to complete A.R.T. Practitioner training and certification. Ali is passionate about her work at A.R.T. and pairs her experience and knowledge of the A.R.T. protocol with her background in holistic health to help her clients and their families achieve food freedom.
